The VOICE of the VALLEY

WMRW was started in 2003 when the FCC awarded Rootswork a permit to build a low-powered FM (LPFM) station at the old East Warren Schoolhouse.  Rootswork is a local grassroots non-profit organization devoted to promoting sustainable agriculture and community.  The schoolhouse is located at the East Warren Four Corners, the intersection of East Warren Road and the Roxbury Mountain Road.

Thanks to the generosity of the Mad River Valley community, we've been able to launch WMRW with the essential equipment and furnishings.

We need your continued support to pay the ongoing bills and enhance our capabilities. When we get enough money, we will have equipment for call-in shows and perhaps even to broadcast our programming on the Web.

WMRW programming covers a wide spectrum, presenting live programs from people of all ages, opinions, and musical tastes. As we train new program hosts, we're adding their entertaining and informative programs to our line-up.

Won't you please consider a charter membership at one of these levels?
