During 2011, WMRW has continued to percolate with local talent from central Vermont and beyond, producing many original homegrown shows, plus our usual mix of impromptu events and conversations.
We also continue to air "alternative" news and information shows. Over this last year, we have picked up some more interesting shows. For example, "The Pollution Free Revolution", with host Don Hassig originates from upstate New York. By speaking at length to the scientists and activists that are personally working to protect our environment, Don comprehensively covers many important environmental issues, which are hardly mentioned by our mainstream news. These have so far included dioxin emissions, Canadian tar sands pollution, Marcellus Shale oil 'fracking' and more.
A licensee of Rootswork, WMRW is located on the second floor of the East Warren Schoolhouse at the corner of the Roxbury Mountain Gap and the East Warren Rd.
