Who we are

Are you tired of scripted jingoistic smooth talking radio? Do you love feral free form radio put together by people that could be your friends, family and neighbors, and perhaps are?

Then you've come to the right community station!

The fact that we're not beholden to the government or commercial sponsors is what puts the "free" in free form community radio. Very simply, we don't have big brother supporting us, feeding us the big bucks and the scripted news and programming that comes with it. Everyone at WMRW is a volunteer (all 52 of us), so every dollar you give goes directly to pay our annual operating expenses which are budgeted for 2012 at to be $10,800. We think that's a bargain.

But for WMRW to survive and pay those bills, we need financial support of all of you that love non-commercial radio and independent media!

Please visit and click on the pig to make a credit card or paypal donation. If you'd rather write a check, make it out and send it to:

WMRW, PO Box 95, Warren, VT 05674.

All donations are tax deductible, and will help ensure that WMRW will stay on the air at 95.1 FM, streaming at, and continue to be "Independent as a Hog on Ice".

Annual Fundraising Event

Our annual on-air 2 week fundraiser is due to start in about a month.

Please tune in for some fun and exciting live radio events and help support this experiment in all-volunteer, low budget, independent radio.

Tax deductible donations can always be made by clicking the pig to make a paypal or credit card donation,
